Giles Price is a photographer based in London. His work is primarily portrait based, both as personal projects and commissioned assignments. His ongoing interests in youth and style can be seen in several bodies of work including 444 SQN, Crowns Of Glory for i-D magazine and 15 Minutes Of Fashion for SHOWstudio. He has shot and published a portfolio of major religious leaders in the UK and has just completed a group of important scientists and thinkers.
Price tends toward a graphic, straight up style utilising a self developed system of lighting in camera rather than extensive post-production. His work has appeared in numerous publications including the Telegraph Magazine, Independent On Sunday magazine, Guardian Weekend Magazine, i-D, SHOWstudio and Big magazine.
His portraits of First World War veterans (2004) and Johnson Beharry VC (2007) are in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery, London.
